Hi. My name is Huli 'Uli'Uli I'lio. It means roll over brown dog in Hawaiian but my friends call me Uli for short. I'm supposed to be a minature dachshund, but I think I'm too big to be called miniature. I just made 1 years old! I'm also FBI (from Big Island), but my parents bought me on Oahu for my Mama's Birthday when I was only 6 weeks old.

Today is the day before our big trip. I'm not sure where we are going, but I know that we are going somewhere from the clues around the house. It's the day before Halloween and I'm playing with my friends. The kids are carving pumpkins, and they are alway good about dropping goodies for me. I've had a good year here so far and been pretty spoiled. My profile pic is of me at Polehale near the Napali Coast in Kauai. I've gotten to travel there 3 x this year.

My best friend is the kitty called Smiley. We wrestle nearly every morning. I'm going to miss her when I'm on the road. We've had some good times together. She taught me how to hunt (I can catch geckos and crickets on my own now). One time we even caught a bird together and I brought it home...Mama wasn't too happy about that. Bird turds and feathers everywhere, what a mess!

I wonder what's in store for tomorrow...
